Hi, I’m Tess, and I’m an English-to-Swedish translator, localizer, and transcreator and the owner of Swedish Translation Services. I am also a content creator and copywriter, with a focus on SaaS companies and consumer marketing.

I have 20 years of experience with English-to-Swedish translation, localization, and transcreation. Before that, I studied international marketing, business communication, and PR and took as many language courses as I could squeeze in (a total of 6 languages). I also worked with product marketing for a Swedish IT/telecom company for almost five years.

When I moved to the US I decided to focus on my passion, languages, and writing, and I became a translator. I have never looked back. I now split my time between my home in Park City, UT, US, and my second home in Stockholm Sweden.

During the past 20 years, I have also taken courses and certifications in copywriting, content writing, writing for the web, SEO and iSEO.

A typical day at work might see me localizing a software user interface into Swedish; helping a client create a culturally relevant marketing campaign or writing content marketing materials both in Swedish and English.

With my training in iSEO and keyword research, I also help many companies with the following:
